A picture moment can happen at any time. Photos were taken with an iPhone, my point and shoot or Canon DSLR. All are meant to be shared and to add a little sense of wonder to our already multi-layered lives.

![]() Perch street viewAs someone who isn't very tall, I always wonder what the view is like for other (taller) people. I think that's why I like to look up. Too many times I have the bad habit of looking down or looking at nothing. Hard to ignore the nighttime view of downtown LA along Hill Street. | ![]() El Segundo sunsetI was trying to catch the sun before it went down. I headed west to the ocean. The street overlooking the water had other sunset watchers, snapping their own shots of Mother's Nature show. He actually moved to the spot closer to the pier when I shot him. I couldn't help but wonder what he was looking at when he saw this sunset. Taken: Jan. 12, 2014 | ![]() Manhattan Beach PierI decided to use my Canon DSLR for this shot, something I haven't used in since the summer. That day I was slowly getting over a cold so my hearing was muffled. I couldn't hear the waves as they came to shore, but the colors from this sunset felt so much more vibrant and alive. Makes me wonder if one sense is not fully working do the other senses heighten in order to make up for it? Taken: Jan. 8, 2014 |
