Watching a beach sunset when time flows by from mood to moment. A former co-worker commented on this photo and said this really should be enjoyed with someone else. As it would happen, I enjoyed this beautiful sunset by myself. His comment made me question if you really need another person to enjoy the fullest from any given moment. Even my mother is surprised to hear when I talk about going on solo trips. I used to think going out alone meant people would be wondering why I'm not with someone or why would I even think about being seen alone in public. Then I remember another friend who calls me brave every time I tell her went off on a solo adventure. Company is a 'nice to have' but as I've discovered, being by myself is just as meaningful.
